I am a bi-lingual ( Welsh and English) Freelance Writer/Director/Producer based in Cardiff.

As Director: 

I trained as an actor in RWCMD and worked as a Theatre Director for Sherman Theatre, Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, The Other Room and Wales Millenium Centre. I have directed plays with Dirty Protest Theatre, which have been staged in Latitude Festival, The Royal Court, The Roundhouse London, The Almeida and Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 

I was selected for the Labordy Director’s Scheme, supported by S4C, Ffilm Cymru Wales and ACW where I was mentored by Rachel Tunnard (Writer/Director) and Josie Rourke (Director)

In Television I have directed on long running drama series Gwaith Cartref. I also co/created and Directed an episode of a 6 part drama series - Bregus for Fiction Factory Films. I also Directed a 4 part comedy drama Jam for S4C. As well as these, I have Directed on second units for Merched Parchus and Cleddau/The One That Got Away.

As Writer: 

I graduated from a NFTS Screenwriting course with acclaimed writer and tutor Paul Fraser. I have written 3 short films which have been produced. The latest - BAICH/BURDEN - was my first as Writer/Director and was selected for the Beacons scheme, funded by BFI, Ffilm Cymru Wales and S4C and was produced by SEVERN SCREEN. It was selected for screenings at Lift off Film Festival London, Female Filmmakers Fuse Festival and Carmarthen Film Festival. 

This led to my first feature film Mogi/Smother being selected for development funding by Ffilm Cymru Wales through their Sinema Cymru Scheme in 2026.

I was the only Wales based Writer/Director selected as one of 15 promising film makers for BFI NETWORK @ LFF in 2022. A scheme led by Alice Cabañas (Head of BFI NETWORK) which is designed to support and inspire original and new voices, celebrating difference in approaches and perspectives, and seeks out filmmakers looking to disrupt conventions. 

I recently developed my work with The Writers Lab New York through their UK & European Lab 2O24, working closely with Development Executives Nicola Kropp (Fireglory Pictures) and Julia Berg (Untamed Stories)

In Television:

I co-created a 6 part drama series for S4C called Bregus which was aired in 2021. I co-wrote 2 episodes and directed an episode for Fiction Factory Films. I am currently working as Producer on a bi-lingual 6 Part television crime drama series The One That Got Away/Cleddau Produced by Blacklight TV for Banijay and S4C, for which I was nominated for a Breakthrough Bafta Cymru Award in 2025. 

Whilst working in Television Production and developing my own original screenplays I have also been raising my family. Now the children are getting older, I’m excited to have the opportunity to be sharing more of my own creations with the world.
