This is Mared’s first creator role in a drama series and Episode 2 is her first writer credit for Television and Episode 4 her first 1 hour Director credit for Television.

BAICH - SHORT FILM WRITER/DIRECTOR Produced by Severn Screen. Currently in Post Production. Co-funded by Beacons Award - Ffilm Cymru Wales.

GWAITH CARTREF TELEVISION/DRAMA Trainee Director, Director of various scenes in Episodes  2,5,6,9 of SERIES 9 Aired on S4C in 2018. 

Gadael Snegi, SHORT FILM, DIRECTOR.  It’s My Shout/S4C 2013. Winner of Best Director at the annual ‘It’s my Shout’ awards. Aired on S4C in 2013.

Development Producer, ieie productions, Cardiff. March 2022- PRESENT

Development/Story/Assistant Producer, FICTION FACTORY, Cardiff MAY 2016 -2021  Working with Series Producer and a team of writers to create Storylines and commission scripts for drama series Gwaith/Cartref for S4C. Giving active feedback to writers, and taking on Script Editing responsibilities on 10 episodes of Television Drama. The role also involed Casting support and Marketing stratergy creation, as well as planning for future creative content for the series and developing new ideas and pitching to broadcasters.

Developing new work with writers in the Welsh Language. Giving artistic input to programming and bringing projects to be developed further to the company. Casting projects. Directing workshops and productions (when necessarry). Evaluating work and developing proffesional colaborations with the company.

Associate Director, WELSH LANGUAGE,  Sherman Cymru ; cardiff 2011-2014

Comissioning new plays in the Welsh language. Working closely with writers to develop their work through workshop and dramaturgy. Working on plays from conception to stage. Casting plays, workshops and rehearsed readings. Working closely to Artistic Director on programming. Directing full productions and rehearsed readings.

Director and Co-producer, Dirty Protest theatre company ; cardiff 2008-2015 

Curating and directing new plays in shorts performances. Conceiving concepts and realising visions. Applying for funding, and making projects happen. Directing short plays in scratch nights in venues from yurts to kebab shops. Casting and producing nights of shorts.
